During lockdown due to this pandemic we civilians can suffer from mental stress and anxiety and we know it can be overwhelming and can cause strong emotions in both adults as well as children. This stress can include a lot of scenarios like:-
1. Fear and worry about your own health and the health of your loved ones
2. Changes in sleep and eating patterns
3. Worsening of chronic health problems
4. Worsening of mental health conditions
5. Increased use of alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs
But as we all know that we are all together in this and we all will fight it together by the help of superheroes of our country that include Doctors, policemen and other people who are on duty amid this lockdown also and are working relentlessly to save the lives of civilians that includes all the people sitting at their homes safely.
There are a lot of things that we can do at home to cope up with this stress and live happily with our families. Some of the ways can be:-
1. Take breaks from watching or listening to news on television or social media because hearing about the pandemic repeatedly can be upsetting.
2. Take good care of your body by eating healthy and eating well-balanced meals.
3. Take deep breaths, stretch, or meditate as this will help to keep your mind and body fit.
4. Do not underestimate the value of getting a good amount of sleep so get plenty of sleep of about 6 to 8 hours each day.
5. Avoid intake of alcohol and drugs and take this lockdown as an opportunity, challenge to get rid of of some bad habits.
6. Make time to unwind. Try to do some other activities you enjoy.
7. Connect with others. Talk with people you trust about your concerns and how you are feeling.
There can be a lot more good activities that you can do at home amid this lockdown.
